Wanting to give business another go...

I finished up my language business late last year. Back working again but dream of giving it another go with a language, tourism or hospitality venture or give my previous business new impetus with fresh new ideas and a business partner. Has anybody been in a similar situation or does anybody have any recommandations on how to go about starting over again?

IMO you need to ask yourself a few questions first. Why did you finish up the previous business. Whats changed? ou used the word 'dream' in your sentence above, once you get bitten by the bug of having your own business you will always have that urge to setup another. But what has changed or what have you learned that will make this one different and not end up the same way? The starting over bit is easy, its the not making the same mistakes that matters.

IMO your best option is to look to improve your working situation whatever way you can, whilst also looking for opportunities to explore things on the side with a view to maybe going out on your own in the short-medium term (if you find that that is the route you really want to take again).

So, it doesn't have to be an 'either or' scenario here.
