Missing beginning of programmes on Sky + recordings

    This only seems to be a problem will flipping tv3, but they keep starting emmerdale and corrie before the allocated recording time on the epg, so it misses a minute or two of the show, not life changing but annoying none the less.
    I know there's an option to set a manual record on sky+ but I'm wondering if that works on a show that's series linked?
    So say if I started emmerdale to record at 6.55 instead if 7pm, would that continue to be the case every time it records or just for the one episode I manually change?

    I don't follow it but I thought the ITV version was the same. Why not record it instead?

    As far as I know Gerry W, ITV is not available to record using Sky box.

    I know it's awkward as it will happen to all your prerecordings but you could use the "add to start of recording feature".....

    Sky+Setup....then the option add to Start of Recording function. (I think the default is set to Automatic.) This allows you to automatically add up to 10 minutes the start of all recordings. Similar with the add to End of Recording feature.
