Noticed yesterday the the passenger door was not closing fully. It's a door that is rarely used and as the car is due for its first NCT shortly I thought I'd check to see if it was an issue. I found that the retaining bar for the locking mechanism bolted to the frame had come loose. I'm not sure if this is a one off but if you have a Megane (mine is 2010) it may be worth checking.

It takes a little time to find the right setting where the door is flush with the chassis before tightening the star-headed screws/bolts.
