So folks here is the situation. We have a water system thats based in the garage and pumped into the house. There is a mains pipe into the utility room, but thats it. No mains pipe to the 2nd floor or the attic. The showers upstairs are pumped showers which are fed off a grundfos pump in the garage.

So, is there any way we could have an electric shower upstairs?

What way are the toilets piped? Are they fed from the pump downstairs as well?
usually people are looking to install power showers, why do you want an electric shower installed? Seems you would be downgrading

I know, its just the whole thing of running out of hot water. The immersion takes about 4 hours to heat the tank if we run out. I suppose its just down to better management of the oil.
Im not sure how the toilets downstairs are fed to be honest. I think everything upstairs is through the pump.

Mira Sport is mains feed only. If you feed off pumped water you will end up with temperature changes and won't be able to set the temperature at a particular setting.

A mains fed shower works great in a pressured system like this. Mira sport is one, triton t80z is another great one. The fact that it is on a Pumped system actually means constant pressure & temperature.
These showers when hooked up directly to the mains don't really work too well. They are designed for the UK where you can have up to 10 bar of pressure .
