I'm just wondering if it'd be possible to find insurance for 2.7k€ on my name on a 1.4 Volkswagen Bora and where would be my best to look? Could anyone link me to good Insurance brokers or something, been waiting around for insurance for far too long.

Try Aviva.. they do deals for beginners which involves getting lessons through one of their approved instructors...remember you can only drive accompanied by a full license holder... best of luck... what do you mean 'insurance for 2.7k"...the value of the car or the premium you want to beat ? cheers

Unfortunately I've already started doing lessons with someone before I heard of the aviva deal :( It's the premium I want, around 2,700 euros.

Speak to your ADI. They might be insured with First Ireland. If they are, get a quote off them yourself and if you're happy with it your adi can give you a cert once you've taken (or paid for) 10 lessons

Check out Asgard. Got a €1200 quote with them 25yo, provisional, 1.4 Honda Civic. Only insurance company I think at the time that quoted under €1500 Excess was €200 or €300 at the time.

Yeah. Unfortunately, being just shy of 2 meters in high, my car choice is limited. Honda Civics (last car), Toyota Corollas (current car), or Mondeos (maybe next car?) are what I can fit into. Seems the insurance companies don't really like Honda Civics :pac:
