Would you trade in
05 corolla hatchback -big mileage, cosmetically few bumps, scratches etc, nct till jan 15, needs a service BUT is running smoothly, very reliable, gives absolutely no bother
Or
08 focus hatchback - smaller mileage,cosmetically perfect, newly nct'd, running perfectly.

Owner of corolla wants to keep it as reckons it'll last longer and they'll get more for the focus
Owner of focus reckons keep the focus as it's 3yrs younger and cosmetically better than the corolla

Both bought new back in the day so no previous owners

Trade in the focus.

Corolla is a great second car if im honest even though i hate them

Also Corolla owners logic is perfect

Trade in the lads car. If you trade in the missus' car and the new one is anyway unsuitable or bad, you'll never hear the end of it.
