Golf mk 4

    friend has an early 04 golf mk 4,,,last of the 99 to 03 shape,

    has some rear bulbs changed on monday and since then has lost the following

    electric windows/sunroof/central locking/ and parts of the display showing mpg etc randomly changing,,,,

    any one come across this? fuses seem to be ok,,

    Have you checked Google for a fuse list for the car? I have a mark 4 and I am almost certain that there is one fuse (blue, maybe) which would knock all those things out if it went. Twas a long time ago though.

    That said, the trip computer going a bit nuts sounds less fuse like to me. I am sure others would have a better insight.

    Sounds like a fuse tbh. Re-check the fuse panel and make sure that there is no damage to the fuse.

    What fuse number was it? For the sake of anyone searching the forum with the same problem.
