    Hi Folks,
my wife's Fiat 500 picked up a few battle scars yesterday (I've attached some photos for your amusement). I'm looking to get a few quotes to get it repaired, anyone got recommendations for panel beaters in Cork city?

I've suggested going the DIY route but that's been shot down.

Cheers for the offer but the three Togher suggestions are right on my doorstep so I'll give them a go.

Your welcome. If you are living in Togher and there are good lads local you would be mad to go any further.

Post back and let us know how you get on. If you have a camera throw up some before and after shots.

Well folks, thanks for your suggestions. We got quotes from a number of places and in the end went with Lee Crash Repairs in Southside Industrial estate. TBH the decision was purely financial but we're very happy with the results.

Kenny Brothers on the Tramore Road.

Overpriced and work not to standard that you would expect.

I dont know the buisness in question but a busy workshop doesn't always mean a good job.

Also, Sorry to say this op but imo the spray job done to your car isn't great. There seems to be a lot of orange peel effect present.

I think that's just the lighting conditions when I took the photo. The reflection of the evening sun which was low and orange.

He means minute dimpling on the paintwork like the skin of an orange. It has nothing to do with the colour orange that may come from sunlight.

No not the colour orange:D The dimples in the paint is reminiscent of the peel of an orange.

The blurred reflections on the door would suggest dimpling but it's dependent on the camera resolution too I suppose.
