Run route - Curragh?

    Evening all, travelling from limerick to Dublin tomorrow during the day for work and wouldn't mind sneaking in a cheeky 5/6 miler en route... I'm thinking the curragh offers me the best option that's within 2/3 minutes of the motorway with safe-ish parking. Not familiar with the area at all and don't want to go any areas I'm not supposed to such as Army grounds. If anyone could offer a good GPS link with parking info that would be very much appreciated. Also, I'm open to other suggestions, doesn't have to be the curragh, no major preference re terrain, surface etc. Thanks

    Not much of the army grounds that you cant use these days. Only range in use is pistol and that's fenced off out the back of the camp.
    So if you don't mind slightly muddy runners, the plains are your oyster.
    There's parking just off the road after exiting from the roundabout heading into curragh camp if you fancy the main plains running by the motorway,
    or carry on in and park by centra in the middle of the camp if you'd rather road.
    This route runs near the centra.
    Or this is out on the front plains.
    The roads are fairly quiet with plenty grassy verge to use also.
