Very surprised to receive an e-mail about this last night.

Is it true, don't see anything on there Website about it?

Have lots of Photos up there going back years.

Where do I upload to next, google, dropbox, other?

Yeah there's a blog on the Canonical website about it, I'm fairly annoyed - been using it for ages too. Dropbox or Copy are your best bet as replacements. Copy is good, 15GB free.

I never really used it much. There are a lot of competitors and I suppose they couldn't keep up with the competition.

Surprised though due to the launch of the Ubuntu phone later this year, you would think they would integrate them like with Windows Phone and SkyDrive.

Slight problem with that: you don't have an offsite backup anymore. I have my own backup server at home as well, but it's in addition to a cloud backup, not a replacement
