hello so my story is....
i was 18 at the time going to a festival called electric picnic i have got cought with about 3-4Grams of cannabis in one bag for my own smoke as it was 3 days there.
i got letter from court today saying:
Contrary to section 3 and section 27 ( as amerced by section 6 of the misuse of drugs act, 1984) of the misuses of drugs act 1977.
i would like to know what can i get for it ?
it's in Portaoise court.

and i wanna mention i haven't done weed in 6 months i'm 100% clean i got a job and getting my own place soon enough !

On the top right hand side of main page of the forum, there is a "Search this forum" button, which will show that this question has come up a number of times before; i.e. somebody caught in possession of a small quantity of cannabis at Electric Picnic.

The ultimate answer is always the same, go to a solicitor and get legal advice. Please don't listen to anybody who might suggest that you could handle your own defence. There are good reasons to have proper representation in relation to a charge of this nature.
