    I think you misunderstand how these announcements work. When they say 200 jobs they very very rarely mean straight away. It is normally a plan over a number of years. Keep an eye on their website as it will show the vacancies as they come up.

    You can always send you CV in now but they are often never looked at until there is a vacancy. The problem is a load of people read such announcements and swamp HR with CVs. They then don't look at them as it is a massive job to sort CVs for no particular job on the CV.

    Apologies my OP wasn't very clear.

    I had thought I heard on Radio 1 around the time of the announcement that recruitment was commencing before the end of the Summer, with key staff starting at their other locations over a phased basis.

    Not sure if they're using CPL for this round of recruitment.

    It's not for myself it's for a friend in the pharma industry.
