Hey wondering if anyone can help me.. I've recently decided to start having protein shakes after the gym. I bought a couple of premade shakes from the gym but at 4e each they're expensive to be having them daily. So I bought a bag of powder - Protein Matrix in chocolate flavour and it's GROSS! Can anyone recommend a powder that tastes nice or are they all that bad?! Ideally I want to take them on the way home after the gym so mixing fruit, yoghurt etc is not an option as I want convenience. Tried this one with water and then milk.. The milk not making much difference to the flavour! The reason I choose this brand was I could get a small bag for 12e to try. I don't mind spending 50/60 on a big tub if I know it's drinkable! As I say I'm only new to this so any advice appreciated!!

Feck the protein shakes.. If your wanting something for after a workout.. You want something that replaces all the nutrition you have just sweat out after a workout..
Look up a product called "rebound" by youngevity.. Specifically designed for athletes

Dymatize would be my favourite, although some of the flavours are too sweet, especially if you add dextrose/maltodextrin into it after working out. And you really can't go wrong with Optimum Nutrition, it is a good all rounder but it's usually a little more expensive than most brands.
