How to get headhunted - unusual ways of getting noticed?

    Hi,
I am currently searching for a new job opportunity. As we all know, times are hard and there is very few decent positions being advertised in the retail sector. Especially outside big towns.
That is why I thought I could try to be a bit more proactive with my search, but...
First I did all the usuals: registered with some agencies, applied for few jobs. I even got one interview! One. And I did not get the job.

With hundreds of applications being received for every position advertised - is there any way of getting NOTICED? I am not the most experienced candidate, but I have all the necessary skills, enough experience and GREAT POTENTIAL. But how to prove it in my CV without getting an opportunity to speak to the employer?

That is why I decided to create a website and include my professional profile, all supporting documentation etc. on it. But the next question is: how to get people to open this page? If I put the address in my CV will recruiters even bother opening it? Or maybe I should put the links on some forums? Where would I try? How to send the link to retailers, how to get the message through?
Do you think it is a good idea at all to have a page like that?

    I would appreciate any ideas!

P.S. and if you would like to see my page the link is below:
