eFibre Advanced, Unlimited and 'Advanced Unlimited'

    Hi,

I signed up for eFibre last year. At the time I signed up for a package called 'Advanced (Unlimited)' that was at least 50Mb, and up to 70Mb.

But now you have two packages, one called 'Advanced' that is limited to 50Mb, and a different one called 'Unlimited' that is up to 70Mb.

The problem is when I rang tech support complaining about my line being limited to 50Mb when I should be getting 70Mb, the tech support guy saw 'Advanced (Unlimited)', he was confused about what the package was, and what I should be getting. The phone call ended with my line staying on 50Mb since that is the maximum he could set my line to.

    However things have since changed.

At the time my xDSL stats on my modem said the max attainable rate was just above 60Mb, so I accepted that 50Mb was indeed the maximum.

However, now my xDSL stats say the 'max attainable rate' is over 105Mbps, so 70Mb should easily be possible.

So now I suspect that perhaps many if not all of the original 'Advanced (Unlimited)' lines are being limited to the same as the current 'Advanced' package where they should be the same as the current 'Unlimited' package.

I know you are going to tell me to ring tech support again, but on the last call to them, I was met with some confusion on what this older package of mine actually is.

So before I do, Im looking for some confirmation here that these older 'Advanced (Unlimited)' packages are indeed entitled to 70Mb, and that a 105Mb 'max attainable rate' should allow me to get 70Mb at least.

    Thanks.
