    Hi all,
Just doing a bit of research, and looking for opinions also.
How much would you consider to be reasonable to spend on a bike lock? 30%, maybe 10%, of the value of the bike? Maybe a euro value irrespective of the bike?
Are you keen on one brand, or do you buy by rating?

    Depends on a couple things:

    - Where the bike will be locked up. CCTV'ed garage? Outside? Rough area? etc
    - How long will it be locked up for. Only for short grocery shopping? Throughout the day? Over night?

In any case, if you want piece of mind, the Kryptonite New York range seems to be 'best'.

I have two locks, a really good one, and a flexi wire one that I got in Aldi. The good one I find awkward, because I'm clumsy sometimes. But then I realized that I only need to lock it when I go to the shop. So now I use the Aldi one because its easier, for short term, and near a CCTV. its definitely a crap lock though.
