I guess your friendly neighbourhood Mod had better get the ball rolling on this week's poll. Suarez will win it but no doubt it'll have smatterings of Yaya and Hazard.

2 weeks ago when I was well and truly dead and buried at 286k I had a notion that this would be the week I'd captain Mickey Turner on his glorious return. Now that I'm at 206k and back in the game, relatively speaking I might just have to backtrack, might!

    10, 11, 8, 7, 9, 5, 7, 7, 2, 13, 3, 11, 21.

This is as good as Yaya's home stats are this year. 2 pts home to Liverpool, 3 home to Chelsea were his only failures. With Aguero confirmed out it keeps his scoring chances very high. Also, Southampton did concede goals lately (3 at Tottenham, WH and home to Liverpool, 2 home to Norwich...).

That said. Liverpool are going for the title now. WH are almost safe from relegation. They did win the games that mattered recently. So hard to go past a super-motivated Liverpool side versus a comfortable-feeling team.

    Suarez.

I'm hoping Yaya and Silva rip Southampton apart though (and concede). 5-1 please.

while hazard and ya ya are both great shouts it's an easy enough decision for me to pick suarez against such a poor side as west ham.

next week i'll be venturing away from suarez so sticking with him for this one.

as for the rooney option, with united having nothing to play for in the league now I wouldn't be totally surprised if hernandez started instead of rooney tomorrow or else came on for him after 60 minutes.

with van persie out and mata cup tied v bayern I don't think united can risk getting rooney injured so I'd be amazed if he played 90 minutes.
either 30 or 60 a lot more likely.

I'm where I want to be in everything I care about so would be nuts to captain anyone other than Suarez. Let the chasers take risks on differentials.

Don't west ham have the most clean sheets this season?

Andrew Carroll for me, you know he's going to score against Liverpool.

60 points off first place in my league so I'm tempted to go with Yaya but everyone else will be going with Suarez so if Yaya doesn't come through I'll be even more behind. Suarez all the way!

I'm 86 points behind in my league so I'm very tempted to go with Yaya who looks like the best differential captain this week. His stats at home this season against those teams outside the top four are impressive to say the least so I think I might go for broke. If it doesn't work out sure how bad. :)

Took a gamble on Sturridge last week and it backfired, so Suarez this week.

Yep capped Yaya. Bit disappointed he only ended up with 6 points but he got more than Suarez which ultimately was the main reason for doing it.
