Ayrshires & Shorthorns - Dairying Advice

    A friend of mine whose father has a PBR SH herd is looking at his options - what are the best Shorthorn & Ayrshire bulls available in Ireland at the moment? The figures on the ICBF are so low for the SH, reliability wise, with a lot of the dairy SH running on beef figures.

    He is thinking of going away from the SH towards AY (I'd be inclined to encourage him towards using R&W Hol Fr bulls)
