First time build issues -> No display on Monitor

Hey all, it's my first time building a PC. For some reason the display won't come on or detect it at all. The display is fine as i'm using it while typing this.

I've tried 2 different RAM sticks(1GB/bought yesterday to test and 8GB), 2 PSU's one of which is definitely working(using it now), tried connecting to the onboard GPU and Main GPU, resetting Bios(took out CMOS for 10 mins)...what else...I'm very certain all the cables are connected up right too. All fans come on, GPU and Mobo have green lights etc. Everything seemingly works except for the fact that the display won't come on...I tried 2 display btw.

    Specs-

    Mobo - Asus M5a78L-M LX2
Cpu - Amd FX 6350 Black edition
GPU - Has onboard something and I have another one in -> Radeon RX 270
PSU - Corsair CX 430watts(tried it with a Corsair CX 600Watt to which is what i'm using now)

It has no mobo speaker so it's hard to tell with nothing telling me if it's posting or not... I'm suspecting Mobo or CPU is faulty?

Maybe i'm missing something obvious? The 4 input CPU cable is in too in case you're thinking that...

Anyhow, is there a way I can test the Mobo and CPU without another mobo/cpu?

Your motherboard should have a header to connect the case speaker to, usually next to the one for the front panel and power/reset switches?

Did you try unplugging the GPU and trying just with the onboard?

What CPU is it? Not up on AMD, but don't think a "3950" is a brand

Yeah the motherboard does have a connector, but the case doesn't have a speaker(pretty shocking to me consider the other stuff it has haha). Planning on buying one today or on Monday...ah I guess I should get one and check first before asking here.

Yeah my bad it is FX6350. I've tried with both the onboard and GPU yes.

Another thing, when everything powers up, the GPU fans periodically go on and off every second, is that normal when the PC doesn't Post or something?

The speaker should come with the motherboard, not the case. Check the packaging, it's only small you may have missed it

I have checked man, it doesn't come with one, it was cheap after all...

Anyhow, think I went and was just being stupid...

    http://support.asus.com/cpusupport/list.aspx?SLanguage=en&p=1&m=M5A78L-M%20LX3&hashedid=dTQKSzS6a01NToMh

Supports FX6300 not FX6350. Seems to support 95Watts only. the 6350 is 125Watts...fml

Despite my stupidity in thinking there would be little difference between the two...i'm quite happy to know what the problem is..
