These construction workers who decided to cut up an old bomb with torches!

    http://bangkok.coconuts.co/2014/04/03/world-war-ii-bomb-buried-70-years-kills-7-when-scrap-worker-cuts-it-torch
When what seemed a 70-year-old bomb from World War II was dug up by a construction crew, it wasn't taken for disarming and study. Instead, someone saw a lot of valuable American steel and took it to sell for scrap.
Apparently the bomb was not a dud, as seven people died yesterday when a worker at a Bang Khen district recycling yard cut into the 500-pound bomb with a welding torch.

An appropriate name for the recycling facility.

In their defence they may not have known it was a bomb. Real life bombs do not look the way cartoons portray them.

Sounds like something my old man did when he tried to make a sandblaster with two "empty" yellow gas cylinders. "Just in case", he decided to use an angle grinder instead of a gas cutters to cut open the bottles...

Turned out the only bright spark in the workshop that day was the one from the angle grinder that the minute it came in contact with the gas, made QUITE the explosion!

Only for he'd such a thick skin protected by an even thicker beard, he'd have melted the face off himself! As it was, he just about got away with full blackface!

Nah, big fcuk off house but the workshop was a separate building again. He was actually a qualified fitter/turner by trade, and just now I remembered another one -

He for god knows what reason had to raise a BMW up on a forklift to do some welding or some such underneath it, and the brother was supposed to keep an eye on the forklift... Soon as the old man was under the car, the brother fcuked off into the house for a drink of water.

Of course, Murphy's law in full effect - forks slapped down, old man trapped underneath! They managed to get him out anyway, relatively none the worst for wear! Hardy old bastard so he was in all fairness, he had to be to have survived the number of near misses that should've killed him!

And that's why us men must always be in possession of a proper man beard. Now if your dad was one of those moisturising nancy boys, he'd probably now be saving up to buy a new face.
