    Hi all,

I have a question about the SEAI grant for replacing a boiler and controls.

If you were to replace the boiler (and associated controls specified here http://www.seai.ie/Grants/Better_energy_homes/Better_Energy_FAQ/Homeowner%20FAQ/ in your parents home (who are now in a nursing home) would you be able to avail of the SEAI grant?

    Thanks

AFAIK it's owner occupiers. But can't see why they couldn't apply

Thanks for the reply DGOBS, I assumed the same but have since seen
*I hereby confirm that I am the owner of this home or I am acting with their express consent. I am not registered as a contractor with the Better Energy Homes Scheme nor am I involved in delivering energy efficiency works in any capacity.

at the start of the application https://hes.seai.ie/GrantProcess/ApplyForGrantAfterWizard.aspx. The bolded part (my emphasis) I would hope makes it possible.
