How do you spend your evenings at home?

What do you do when you get home at night? Do you stay up late, go to sleep early, watch tv, internet, housework etc? Not looking to find out what you might have done on one occasion or tonight but what is the norm?

Don't usually get home till 22.45 (college).

Eat, shower, bed. Episode or three of a box set (supernatural at the moment). Sleep by 1.30/2.00 up again at 7.really sh1t way of living at the moment

I come home, eat, scratch my balls and browse the internet.

Sometimes I forget that we only get one of these "Life" things.

When I lived with the OH, we'd watch UFC, Pontless, sit by the fire, play poker or board games with friends.

Now I go to my room and avoid my parents as much as possible, I read a lot. A book a night usually. On a James Patterson kick lately. 7 books down!

I have a few hobbies but a favourite is knitting. I did a little knitting in primary school about 22 or 23 years ago and it was something I liked a lot but it was all I ever did. I took a notion last year to give it a go. Amazingly after all these years, the little bit that I learned in school remained with me and came back to me very easily. Since starting back I've learned so much and I'm still learning. I've worked on some small projects and have many more projects on the go here sitting on needles and have much more planned to do in the near future. When I started knitting last year I didn't know much and only knitted straight things. I learned how to read knitting some patterns and I progressed to knitting clothes for dolls. I knitted a cap, a skirt and a dress for a doll. Using nice balls of yarn too for these. I would get lost for ages checking out wool in wool and knit shops and on online shops. Lately I've been learning how to use circular needles. I hope to try some cable knitting soon. I love knitting. I find it very therapeutic.

Have about an hour and a half free when I get home, so usually I eat, piss about here for a while, catch up with himself, read a bit in bed then sleep. Good times.

Home after work, eat a bit. Will then either have training, match or a meeting. Come home, sort out jerseys or meeting minutes and go to bed. Cinema or soap night with the girls if there is nothing going on.
