Hi, I have, by accidentally using a product not suitable for cleaning marble, managed to remove patches of glaze off the vanity unit worktop in my parents house.

Is there a way of reglazing it? Have googled but can't find an answer.

    Any suggestions?

I would think it can be polished again. Can you remove the marble? Try a headstone place.

It will be difficult to remove with the wash hand basin in it. The top layer of glaze/polish has been "burnt" off by the cleaning product.

What cleaning product did you use? Can you post a pic of the vanity unit so we can see how hard it is to remove the sink?

It was Flash extra strength or something. I am not there at the moment so can't tonight but will tomorrow.
