Looking for a good gym near Carraroe, preferably within 20-30min drive, max.

Have to go to the Gaeltacht for 3 weeks in July and need a gym with Olympic Lifting facilities or at the very least a Squat Rack and some heavy dumbbells.

    Thanks

Think theres a gym in Lettermore where the Lettermore football pitch is as there is a big centre there with gym facilities i think.

    Thanks for that!

I've found them on Facebook and mailed but don't think they are very active, and when they are it's all as Gaeilge!

It's called Sportlann Naomh Anna. I'm guessing you were on the GAA club Facbook page and not the separate page for the sports centre.

Their phone number is on that page I linked if you have any questions.

It's about 15 minutes drive from Carraroe. Less than 10 miles.

You're going to the Gaeltacht and complaining about the site being in Irish? Jeasus wept

    Raca gogaireachta ;)

Connemara Coast Hotel in Na Forbacha has a gym, not sure what weights they have.
Ocean Fitness in Salthill will definitely tick your boxes, but may be too far away (45 minutes).
