    Hi Everyone

I Hope you can help me out. I am not able to access google.com and Facebook through my laptop.

Using IE and Chrome, I uninstalled chrome as I believed this was the only browser having the issue. Now cannot re install as I cannot get to anywhere on google.com.

No error as such just says that it cannot connect at this time. My friend will be bringing over his laptop later to test.

Any ideas if this is laptop/isp issue ?

    Any help would be great.

Hey Thank you for the reply,

    Yeah posting from laptop now.

I pinged both and it looks the same as what you have shown.

Just an update on this also, I have been able to download chrome by going through google.ie

So any other ideas would be great.

Could be some malware messing with your HOSTS file or some other effect. Worth heading over to http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=1009 for help (read the stickies first) or at least run Malware Antimalwarebytes for some cleaning.

    Hi All

Still stuck with this one, Still not able to access Facebook or Google.com. Installed malware bytes and ran a scan and nothing unusual showed up.

We can access both sites on another laptop. Looking for any other help on this if possible.?

Try a different browser, also try putting the numeric IP address from the ping results into the address bar of a browser, also check the browser is not in 'offline mode'
