I've put together a build was hopeing someone could tell me if it's all compatible and is there any savings or improvements to be made.

Hardly a nice build. If you're not going to overclock, you don't need a Z87 motherboard. A nice B85 board will do, like ASRock B85 Pro4 or MSI B85-G43.
For ~600 quid, you're better off investing more money into the graphics rather than getting an SSD. Optionally you could hold on with the GPU, save up some money and get a proper beast of a card.
You won't have a good gaming experience with a TV too, but let me jump into the details first.
If I was you, I'd skip the GPU for now, wait until you get more money and get a GTX 760.

Alternatively you can skimp some money on the SSD or not get it at all, downgrade the power supply down to corsair CX or Thermaltake, get a cheaper case and then you should be able to afford the GTX 760.

Might want to get a cheaper h87 board seing as you won't be overclocking and you could save a few bob on the psu as well i'd say.
Mainboards are NOT my strong point though so wait for someone else to confirm that.
    Good luck.

    @Tortoise
I replied earlier but for some reason the mod has to accept it.
H87's aren't really worth it, B85 are the boards to go for.
Never save the money on the PSU, unless you're on a really small and strict budget.

Thanks for the replys. If I was to leave the gpu for the moment and put the 600 into the the rest of the parts and leave myself with the option to overclock down the line what would you suggest?

For the GPU something like an r9 270 can be got for ~140 euro or a 750ti less powerfull for about ~120.

I'm not sure a 760 can be got and stay within budget??

I had the r9 270 in originally but would be willing leave it, go a head with the rest of the build and purchase a better GPU in a months time if it was a big improvement and worth it.
Just need a pc asap as my current laptop has died

I think that getting a better GPU later, once you've more cash is a better option. That's what I'm doing, getting all the parts and then hunting for GTX 780.

For ~600 you can get a pretty high-end overclocking build. However, I couldn't manage to fit in the HDD/Keyboard/Mouse. I probably could skimp a few quid with a different board and case, but IMO the board I picked is more cost effective.

    i5-4670k - 203,83
    8GB-Kit Crucial Ballistix Sport Series DDR3-1600, CL9 - 60,81
    Corsair CX Series Modular CX600M - 65,71
    Corsair Carbide Series 300R windowed - 75,78
    Gigabyte G1.Sniper Z87 - 132,92
    Samsung SSD 840 EVO Basic 120GB - 69,99

Total of €609,04, prices from hardwareversand as for now. The motherboard is quite expensive, but you'll get really good overclocking stability, SLI support, Killer Lan, really good sound and a few others nice features. The lack of peripherals and the HDD may be annoying, but tbh, you can pick up something that will work for the mouse/keyboard, then smack on the HDD. That's what I would do if I was you.

Run those parts through giezhals.de(sp?) and maybe a slightly cheaper case and you can get a HDD in there?
Is it worth spending that much on a board? I suppose if you're in no immediate rush with the build you have time to source a nice GPU.

V300? Away with that, haha. Samsung 840 EVO is the way to go. Kingston switched to cheaper flash memory, which means the performance is significantly bad. You can look it up for details.

Ran parts through geizhals comes to €579 so would save enough for HDD. Seems the best way to go just want to make sure it's value for money and last for a good few years

Well, then my advice is to get the parts I posted above, then wait to get a GTX 760 or even 770. My build is far more cost effective than MRTULES's build, it should last you for a looong time.

I have seen the benches but I honestly dont know how much of that you would notice in everyday use?
Compared to a HDD nearly all SSD's would feel so much quicker in everyday use.
I dont know the answer but I would be interested.

    Item|Price
Samsung SSD 840 EVO Basic 120GB SATA 6Gb/s|€68.76

you could stick it in and still be on budget. I actually thought it was more expensive than this.

I would be interested to know what you mean by "cost effective"? I am no expert by any means (and have never claimed to be) but I am always open to enlightenment. If you are going to shoot down my build that is absolutely fine but I would appreciate a little more feed back or detail. Only way I'll learn.
    Thanks

Fair point, but within this price range, you can get the same capacity with much better speeds. And the Samsung writes stuff like crazy!

Right, alright. I think that getting a pc that will perform fine for now and a bit is quite pointless, unless it's like a super-budget build.
I already stated what's with the Kingston SSD, so the next thing will be CPU. 4440 is a really good quad-core, nearly on the same level as 4570. It performs really well for gaming and multi-threaded applications (i7 would only benefit you if actually do a LOT of multi-threaded stuff, the difference between stock 4670k and stock i7-4770k isn't massive, irrelevant comment but probably worth mentioning), however the 4670k can squeeze out more power, particularly in the future, when Broadwell and Skylake will come out. Motherboards, the H81M-HDS is a fine budget board, it has everything you would need to build a small gaming build, but on the other side, the G1.Sniper has more, much more, like well cooled and a good number of power phases (important for clocking), SLI, to bring out more performance etc etc.
Merc Alpha is a tiny case and there wouldn't be good airflow, from what I can see. More cold air in, the better the performance of your GPU/CPU.
I could write more, haha, like about the GPU but if he was going to get the 760/770, he'd be better off, you can look up the benchmarks yourself.

Thanks for the advice. Parts arrived today and have them put together.
This maybe a stupid question the powercable going from the PSU to the wall socket has a European 2 pin connection is it possible to get an irish 3 pin version of this cable? Have a converter for the moment

Can't post pics for some reason

You can get one easily, yeah. I used an adapter before and never had any problems.
