Following a service on above, I decided to whip off the EGR valve for a cleaning. Wasn't too bad but cleaned it anyway. However, the flap in the smaller port which has the shaft running through it is not tight. Is there supposed to be movement between the shaft and the flap ? I've arrowed the issue in the pic. Looks like it was originally a solid connection but there is definite movement between the 2 parts

Would something like JB Weld be worth a shot prior to changing the entire unit ?
