Our household is about 2.3km to our exchange according to ADSL2+ stats and we're about 500m or so from the nearest VDSL cabinet.

I'd like to know from Eircom what will be put in place for those who are on direct fed lines to the exchange that won't be able to be provided for eVDSL (Exchange VDSL) when Eircom plan to put in VDSL equipment into the exchange.  Will there be other cabinets put closer to our homes? Will you perform some civils to have a new line to the nearest cabinet?

Many of those residents in my estate who would be in 70s builds would like to know when can they avail of the service that is at their doorstep.
