Last time I did this I flew to Dublin and took the bus to Belfast. Cost about €40.

    That's not a bad price.

Tbh it's probably the best way, or you could take a few trains.

Trains in Northern Ireland are pathetic.

They are indeed, especially as the train going past the city airport doesn't actually stop near the city airport.

Belfast International Airport (Aldergrove) or George Best Belfast City Airport?

Irish rail have it down as €87.10 (Plus Credit Card charges so your looking at €90/one way.

Aer Lingus are €41 to Dublin excluding baggage add an additional €15 to €20 to this depending on the weight of your checked luggage if you have any.

Aircoach bus to Glencall Street in Belfast is €11.50.

Fly and Bus looks the cheapest.

You could do Kerry to Belfast by train for far cheaper by purchasing two separate tickets - one from Kerry to Dublin and a second from Dublin to Belfast.

Probably quickest is to fly to Dublin and then take the Aircoach service to Belfast from Dublin airport, which airport? Aldergrove or Belfast City?

If you want to fly the whole way, you could go via London!
