What's the best out there? I used the small ambic bottles from magenta, very good but expensive. Tried ordinary emulsion before but it dried out and flaked off. What are ye all using anyone ever tried those paint sticks/crayon type?

    Tail paint here.
Clip off any hair that's not already taken off with them bulling previously.
    Tail paint then every week.
    Works on heifers a treat

Just out of the local DIY spot.
    Its dulux I think.
Tried the crayons but you need a good coat of hair on the cows tail which I never have as there always rubbed raw before AI starts

Paintstiks are brilliant.. I find anyway.
Not affected by rain unlike emulsion paints. There clean to handle, no washing of a brush, pickup any colour if a touchup needed. Have a range of colours in pit. I would agre that a skinned cow doesnt hold the paintstik material very well, but can still manage fine. However I dont find orange stands out as good as the rest. Scratch cards are reasonable good also.

when i was using it , it was a case of whenever it was required that could be the following day after torrential rain and more rain. It is not a case of how often, but a case of if u have a doubt or not comfortableit the fact...... is it removed or a small piece peeled, or was she bulling etc etc etc. you get my point At 250 E per missed heat u get the picture:D
