stanley oisin top baffle removal.

    hi all. wonder if anyone has any advice for removing and replacing the top baffle on a stanley oisin. i have the inside of the (non boiler) stove stripped of fire brick,front bars,and grate but for the life of me i can't get the baffle out to replace it with a new one.i've been at it for over an hour and no matter which way i pull and push it wont come out.:mad:

    Think you are asking in the wrong forum? Maybe Plumbing and Heating would be more suitable?

    Anyway iirc airen't their two baffle wings that sit on the top baffle that prevent you lifting it up and pulling it forward? Take the wings out first? Manual isn't much help http://www.waterfordstanley.com/media/2030180/oisin-solid-fuel-stove-manual.pdf .
