I might be on a CE scheme soon or Jobbridge placement, I have been long term unemployed for a while now but volunteer at some of the camping music festivals during the summer. I have now built up a loyalty with some of these festivals where I work the week before the festival so that I'm free for the weekend of the festival. If I start one of these schemes will it affect my right to work at and attend them, is it possible to take holidays so that I might be able to still work the advance week for the festivals. Is holidays still the same as applies to SWA or JSA claimants. I just checked Citizens Information but this wasn't mentioned for CE but was for Jobbridge.

If you want to get into it, you got to get out of it. (Hawkwind 1982)

Jobsbridge is more or less full time work where as c.e. is only part time, 19.5hrs per week. with c.e. generally what suits you best is facilitated.

Some may choose to work a week on and week off. Others may work their 19.5hrs over 3 days, and sometimes you can work time up and take as time in lieu.

Also with c.e you can do work elsewhere if you like as long as it doesn't affect your work/hours on the scheme itself.

Youre entitled to 81 hours holidays on ce scheme per year.
