    Just saw one of the AW139 heading NE over Cootehill, Co. Cavan. he was quite low, less than 1000', id say, and he seemed to have the U/C down. I dont think he was coming into land or having taken off, but it seemed to have the snow skis? on the U/C. Can they not retract the main gear with the skis attached?

    The undercarriage cant be raised with the ski's attached, they have them on the ''on call'' heli to stop it sinking in soft ground conditions.

    AW139 "Medevac 112" was at both Tallaght and Beaumont this afternoon. It was also at Beaumont yesterday when the duty aircraft was serial 278, so it is probably the same one today.
