    Folks,

Quick one. Unable to locate anyone who sells Platinum/Palladium coins/bars in Ireland. If I buy from Germany and pay the vat there am I also liable to pay VAT again when they arrive here?

Assuming not as it's the EU so I shouldn't be double charged as it were but just wanted to double check.

    Cheers.

If you buy in the EU (Germany), you pay the local VAT rate. Germany is currently 9% afaik. You won't get VAT added on top when it arrives here.

Europe Silver Bullion do a tiny selection of your preferred metals and the VAT is included in price.

Bullion Rock also have a small collection and are based in Guernsey, so no VAT is added. It might get stopped at customs unless you choose to pre-pay the VAT on the website.

Forget about the Estonian websites advertising VAT free bullion. Their prices ex vat are just like the vat inclusive prices elsewhere.
