Victoria Plum blossoming too early?

My Victoria plum trees have already started to blossom as is the Farleigh damson. I assume its because of the very mild winter. I am a little concerned its too early and they may get frost damage if we get a late cold snap. Should I be concerned?

It is definitely likely to be because of the mild winter, my "Opal" plum has already flowered and gone. There is little you can do but let them take their chances, I reckon the biggest danger with early flowering is lack of pollinators rather than hard frost. Last year at this time there was little frost but icy cold, dry winds and they did more damage than frost could ever do.

Thanks, there are far more blossoms this year than last so hoping for not too windy days and a bumper crop this autumn!
