Ohhhhhhhh, bold move the night before.

    :P

Team looking like this, but could easily change before midnight...

    Boruc
    ----Coleman---Evra---Zabaleta----
    Lallana-Yaya Touré-Barkley-Hazard
    --Sturridge---Lukaku---Suárez(c)--

    Mannone
    Nolan
    Olsson
    Ward

    My own team:

    Mannone
    Coleman Terry Bardsley
    Gerrard Lallana Yaya Hazard
    Sturridge Suarez Lukaku

    Subs: Adrian, Chester, Ward, Nolan.

I have 9 of the 11 FFS Scout Picks.

Still tempted to make a second transfer of Nolan to Gerrard, but who to play him in place of. Lallana is the only one I could potentially bench, but am sure he could do damage to Newcastle. Am I correct though as well that Gerrard is a card or two from a suspension?

he is one card away from 2 match suspension I think.
I wouldn't really get him in now tbh, I have him but he'll be gone by GW34 for the DGW.

If I dont get him now though, I will more than likely get him for the next GW, thats assuming he does not get booked. Looking at the business end of the season now, as well as the DGWs, and need to make up ground.

Mannone in for me seeing as McGregor is out and I used my transfer to swap Bacuna for Barkely.

After the last GW it's only going to be a let down, 35 points all round :P

    Mannone
    Terry, Zab, Distin
    Yaya, Hazard, Gerrard, Barkley
    Suarez, Jelavic, Sturridge

Hopefully I'll break back into the top 50k after dropping a bit last week.

Thinking of going against the grain and getting Mata in for Sissoko this week. I know United have no game in a couple of GW's but I just have a gut feeling that he's due a big score

Demoralised arsenal supporter going to the City game today, a magical day would be an arsenal win but at this stage willing to settle for an end to the City clean sheet run.......

I've a good feeling about Mata today, a player like that is going to do the business sooner or later. He's got two decent fixtures before he's cast aside for the blank week, I'm hoping for close to 20 points from those.

I've left Mirallas on the bench with a front 7 of Adam Johnson, Mata, Silva, Hazard, Lambert, Suarez and Lukaku. I've no doubt whatsoever that Mirallas will start and could very well get a 10 pointer but that's the decision I've settled on for the moment.

I've picked Boruc ahead of Adrian.
Gone for Ivanovic, Coleman and Zab at the back. Could have gone with Chambers ahead of Zab but not happy to double up on So'ton defence really, Ward isn't an option this week with Chelsea rocking up.

I'm not expecting much really, no matter how well I do I've no doubt that Sturridge and Yaya will balls it up for me anyway.

How do you think Johnson will do this week? I took a bit of a punt and brought him in (the DGW was in the back of my mind).

Well I was quite impressed with his cameo against Liverpool, I only got him last week, home to West Ham isn't the best possible fixture but hopefully the hammers concede early and the game will open up a little, Johnson is always a scoring/assisting threat.

    mata nolan silva yaya
    suarez sturridge lukaku
I also have a feeling mata may finally do something today.

I'm also doubling up on Sunderland but not expecting much tbh.

It would be just like Mata to score well after I have pulled him out but I think Lallana is a necessity for the rest of the year. Everything Saints do goes through him.

As well as that, neither of my rivals have Mata. One has Lallana though so it's another blocker move from me.

With a 38 and 41 point lead in my two competitive leagues, it's all about seeing out the games for me.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,879 ✭✭✭✭dahat

    Adrian
    Coleman Terry Evra
    Lallana Gerrard Hazard Yaya
    Suarez Sturridge Lukaku

Have Chester as first sub for Evra in case he doesn't start but he will get 30 mins at least I reckon.
Hoping that Lallana can land a decent score to get me a ranking rise as it seems quite a few have moved him on.

Ye I big time regret getting rid of lallana I was going to get him back in this week but decided to wait till gw 34 as they have City away next week. The way this game works sometimes its destined for mata to score after people held onto him so long due to the dgw and then as soon as people shift him he finally does something. I reckon(hope) sunderland wham could finish 0 0.

Dumped Mata yesterday, he better stay quiet. Hoping Barkley continues his run of form. Also need Evra to either keep a clean sheet or not play, playing him ahead of Skrtel.

with the Bayern game so close I think it's possible he might want to give buttner gametime without giving him 90 minutes, I think it's most likely that buttner will start if that's the plan as it's hard to get into the game if you're only coming on for last 20 minutes.
But it is possible he might start buttner, give him 60/70 minutes and then bring him off with Tuesday in mind.

    Sanity check required:

Right so I'm 4th in my league, 48 points off of 1st place. All 3 ahead of me have Toure and Hazard in midfield (as do I). With just 7 gameweeks left I'm starting to think that I need to take risks in order to create some sort of differential to bridge that large gap. Would it be a crazy risk to drop Hazard (Crystal Palace away-could be a tight game) to the bench in order to bring in someone who my opponents don't have (either Jordan Much (WBA away) or Robert Snodgrass(Swansea away))?

Getting Silva could be a worth considering. Think he's fit for this GW, and he's got 2 more games than Hazard to go this season.

Oh I'm not selling hazard, just considering dropping him for an away fixture against a team who will almost certainly park the bus

    giving mata one more week
    prob replace him with schurrle

doubled up on the city defence this week bring in hart with
the rest of the season in mind
theres no way imo speroni or szec would be giving me 6pts anyway, esp
    szec

    hart
    dimic baines skrt ivan
    gerrard mata yaya
    suar jelavic jrod(hopefully, otherwise nolan)

Ah, right. In that case there's no way I'd bench Hazard.

Have to chose my 3rd defender between Rosenior, Ward and M. Olsson.

Have Rosenior on the pitch right now. Is he the best choice? Should I rathe rgo with Ward at home (though it;s Chelsea).

Also does anyone know why he didn't start Hull's last game ? Rotation? Is Figueroa out now?

    My team:

    Howard
    Skrtel Azpilicueta Demel
    Mata Hazard Lallana Yaya
    Sturridge Suarez(c) Lukaku

    Subs: Mutch Chester Ward

Was very tempted to drop Lukaku for Mutch.

    Scored 172 last week, I'd take 150 now. :p

Would love to see Kagawa and Mata both fairly central playing around Rooney betting its a boring 442 though with Kagawa out wide.

    It's clearly a 4231 formation.

    De Gea
    Rafael Vidic Jones Buttner
    Fellaini Fletcher
    Young Mata Kagawa
    Rooney

lol didn't suggest that just said what I would like to see! Pretty obvious its a 442 or 4231 system with Kagawa out wide would just meaning I would like to see him playing more centrally.
