Considering a case cx 90 4wd 40k manual shuttle. Anyone out there have any experience of these. Well specced and 90% tyres and most important in budget. It'll mainly be pulling a trailer but doing some sport turf work ( spraying mowing fert app rolling aeration etc) thoughts opinions welcome. Never had case before nh mf but mostly older stuff. I know the handbrake isn't up to much but otherwise......?

Good tractor, if its in budget then go for it.
With any second hand tractor it would be worth paying another mechanic to check it out for you before you commit to buy.

Great tractor with a comfortable cab.
I saw a nice 2wd on the done deal for 12k which seems reasonable

Is 90HP maybe not a tad heavy for that working on sports fields.. For sport turf work will you not need lawn tyres, these may not last long at road work(not really sure about this).

On the road 40K box saves a bit of time but may be unnecessary unless doing a lot of road work. If it is only a few miles awek may not be necessary.

Lawn tyres can often be came accross easy enough S/H.

Well good tyres are better than worn ones no matter the type and the plan is to get a 2nd set of wheels with turf tyres on and swap them over as needed. This is what I used to do with the 6635 it was on ags and floats as needed. There were times I wished I had the formula1 pit crews on standby!!
