Just wondering does anyone know what the ordinary degree is equivalent to in canada just for C.V. purposes to apply for jobs to test the water before i decide if i will go to canada or not.

    http://www.qualificationsrecognition.ie/CanadaBachelor.html

Says its equal to a Bachelors from the canadian side but most of there Bachelors are 4 year courses.

    Hey Ego! Welcome to Boards!

An Irish ordinary degree is level 7 which is an Ordinary Bachelor Degree on the NFQ. In Canada this is equivalent to the higher end of a Certificate (Not to be confused with the irish certificate). The interpretation of how they exactly compare in Canada is a bit tricky as the provinces are responsible for their own qualification classifications.
