Has to be Suarez, although Lallana is tempting

    Daniel Sturridge
Suarez. Spurs aren't good at the back.

I could see a few people going with Rooney though. I don't have him myself.

Suarez at home seems a bit of a no brainer only match he probably won't be a landslide captain choice is the City match.

And GW37 if you have a good DGW player; although Suarez has Palace A that week so he could go nuts with just the one match

In fairness to Pulis, very few teams go nuts against Palace now. They held City at the Etihad to one goal and Arsenal at the Emirates to two.

They haven't conceded three goals in a game since December 21st against Newcastle.

For what it's worth if I had Rooney I would go with him.

I'm nearly sure I heard a crazy stat the other day that Rooney has only scored twice at Old Trafford in the League in six months. Is this correct?

Looking over their last few games, it certainly doesn't appear he scores that many at home. Most goals seem to come away.

Hasn't really realised that. United v Villa though.

They do have the best away record in the league so not surprising

You would expect a striker at his price point to be scoring at home more.

I was wondering is it because Moyes has a tendency to play the likes of Wellbeck at home more than he does away?

Just a theory that I haven't looked into though.

With utd playing bayern tuesday there has to be some slight doubts about rooney starting if I had him it would stop me from captaining him.

moyes cant afford to rest him as he cant afford another bad result!

As I said Id have slight doubts. He really should rest him as bayern have the league won and will probably rest all their big guns at the weekend. But as you say the pressure moyes is under he will probably end up playing a stronger team than he should.

I'd normally would follow you on that but isn't a european position finish not more important for Moyes and United than a more than unlikely win vs Bayern over 2 legs?

If the current form is any reliable indication we could expect Bayern to play with United the way they did with barça last year...

They are but Suarez is more reliable than Hazard and Palace are stingy defensively whereas Spurs are not.

I agree with this. It's December since Palace last conceded more than two in a game. Arsenal were at home to them and struglled to score two. City narrowly beat them 1-0 at the Etihad.

Pulis teams are always tough to break down.

Yup with that said I do fancy Hazard to score higher than 3 points

Have had 4 bad weeks in a row so going to risk Hazzard.

I think Chelsea will want to keep up their performances to date and score buckets loads.

    Cue 0-1.

they'll never say it publicly but i think united would prefer not to qualify for the europa league, i know most fans don't want them to qualify for it. it's nothing more than a hindrance as all your matches are then thursday-sunday, look at how liverpool have used no european competition to their advantage compared to how it has effected spurs league form.

I'm not saying for a second they'll do anything different in the remaining league matches as moyes knows his job is on the line but the champions league will take priority while they're still in it (which granted, they might even be out of after the first leg like barca were against bayern last year)

Going to take a chance on Sturridge, I have a feeling he'll out score Suarez this week.

Very tempted to put it on Bony as a differential as I need to make up ground but will probably chicken out and go with Suarez!!

Probably won't qualify anyway, am going with Rooney as I am 100 points outside the money in my league so need to catch up.

If arsenal win the fa cup though doesn't their fa cup Europa league spot go to the league?
I hope it doesn't cos I'd rather united not be involved in the Europa league, take the stick about not being in Europe at all when it comes but ultimately it gives us a much better chance in the league next season rather than playing up to an extra 20 matches in a second rate competition.

Rooney could be a great shout or the closing weeks, I might look at him myself instead of my planned aguero move, maybe use company, toure and silva as my 3 city players.
will see how silva looks today and obviously any news on aguero.

Football is about money though. Would being in the Europa not net them a few extra pound?

It's dwarfed in comparison to the champions league and from a purely financial point of view it'd be better to miss out on the europa league and have a much better chance of being back in the champions league the following season.
