    You can read the RSA side of the dispute here. I expect they are going to be using SGS driving testers that would be just as qualified as the ones back in 2008. There was inconsistencies between the SGS ones and the RSA ones back then.

    No they have hired ex-guards as relief testers.

    This goes against agreements made between the RSA and the union which the labour court also had a hand in.

    A few years ago testers had to sit and pass a FETAC Level 7 course. They were told if they failed it they'd not be able to test. The relief testers have not taken this course/test and one has been scheduled to work next week, hence the strike.

    If it's not sorted a series of strikes with 24hrs notice will take place.
