British Aiways Issue in Dublin

    Howdy,

    At around 17:45 I noticed the Dublin airport fire service surround a British Airways plane.

    Anyone know the craic?

    I was listening while driving home on the M50 this evening and didn't hear anything unusual. Although 3G was pretty crap for some reason so I may have missed it.

    I was informed that it was observed having a very smokey engine start and the equipment was called as a precaution.

    1730 dept xxld tech , late in as well ,
    Busy day tomorrow German airports all on strike until 2pm ! Third German strike in last six months with LH to come after this one , us Irish as so compliant !
