    Hi All,

I will be travelling from Kildare Town to IFSC for 8.30am. I drove it before in 1hr 15mins but thought I just got lucky that day so Im planning to use the Luas red line park + ride.

Im aware of the obvious P+R at the Red Cow but have been looking at Google maps and was wondering if there are other options to avoid the traffic volume at Newlands as Id rather get on the Luas earlier than sitting in traffic.
Citywest Luas or Kingswood Luas (N7 - Exit 2) look a possible alternative but are these stops far off the N7 and I believe Citywest can be built up too.

    Avoid Newlands Cross.

Saggart stop is very quiet, but parking is free, but limited.

Cheeverstown stop has a park and ride, that is underused.

Tallaght stop has a park and ride.

Kingswood mean parking in housing estates.

Is taking the train from Kildare not the best option? Door to door, 1 tram swop?

    Motorbike?

    Thanks for replying.
Are Saggart Cheevestown and Kingswood stops far off the N7. Which would you suggest using based on closest to the motorway?

Train dosent really make sence cost wise.

Saggart doesn't have any parking, its the Fortunestown stop you want to head for. Theres free parking there (underground) in the Citywest shopping Centre. Take the Browns Barn exit from the N7 and follow the signs for the shopping centre, less than 5 mins off the N7

Cheeverstown seems ideal, with parking and 25mins drive from Kildare town its perfect.
Any idea how long it takes from Cheeverstown Luas stop to IFSC at rush hour both ways, and do all trams towards Dublin from Cheeverstown go through the IFSC?

    Thanks,
    Maruney.

http://www.luas.ie/red-line-journey-times.html About 45-50 minutes, but slightly longer if you need to make a change at Belgard.

At peak times, some trams operate from Cheeverstown to Connolly. Otherwise, you may have to change at Belgard.
