I've an interview next week with two people interviewing me.

Should I bring copies of my cv.

Should I be honest if im asked about holidays booked. I have a week in july. Maybe tell them that im willing to make up the time and work 6 or 7 days or work xmas where im sure someone else would love time off at xmas.

Bring the copies of the CV's to put yourself at ease but they should have them anyway...
I'd say yes, be up front about the holidays and your idea of offering to work Christmas should go down well and show your genuine..

    Good luck..

You seem to have made a number of decisions there for only being one of three people in the room. I think that is very much the wrong attitude to have. I would advise rethinking

Re-thinking? So I should be honest and leave it at that and let them decide?

In my mind you have two choices -

    A. Run the very real risk of damaging your chances of getting the job by being frank with your "week in July"

    or

    B. Maximise your attractiveness as a candidate by seeming amiable and flexible and then later, maybe a month into the job, request the relevant days through the appropriate HR channels.

Now if A is in anyway truthful, and there is some degree of risk as to the perception it might give, then B is the correct option.

The problem isn't just isolated to "What should I say about holidays." It's the attitude behind your answer. You're being selected from a pool of candidates and its the impression you leave. Don't be the girl who seemed like her holidays were more important than the job.

    Did you get the job?
