    It definitely is a small bit better but not much.....

    It's in the same area as my laptops built in wireless card. It isn't that far from where the laptop is as I'm limited by the usb cable (is quite a decent length though so I can hold it up high).

    Why do you need it? What speeds are you getting. Is a powerline ethernet an option?
