If it was an oil leak (big enough to leave a smell that long) you may need to start by contacting your house insurance company, as oil can do a LOT of damage to your house

I don't want to scare monger it, but, I have seen an oil leak result in partial demolition of a building, and the family rehoused for about 4 months.

I hope whoever bled your boiler has good insurance too.
Do not do anyhting else until your insurance company had been advised
