Springvale, Edmundstown D16 is anyone living there?

I might be buying a house in this estate. The front of the estate looks lovely with the green area and all the trees and it looks well looked after. The house I'm looking at buying is at the back of this estate and to be honest it's not as nice around the the back, it's not as well looked after and is in need of a bit of love. There is also a small apartment block in the middle of the houses around the back, I would love to get a better idea of the people who live in this estate? Is it a lot of rented accommodation or owner occupied? I'll be moving here with a 9 year old boy so I want to make the right decision. Any feedback on this estate would be greatly appreciated as I love the house itself. Thanks in advance.
