Mileage question

    Hey all,

There is a 2011 Citroen Grand Picasso for sale that we're looking at but the mileage is 108k....that seems a lot for a 2011 car.

Would I be correct that this is above average and what should I be seeing re typical mileage for a car such as this (i.e. its an MPV so would be a standard family car as opposed to a business car thats driving around the country 5 days a week)

    Thanks!

Is that km? Is it diesel?

If both of those are yes then that's not overly bad at all, maybe a bit higher than normal but once serviced correctly its fine.

I'd expect normal to be 60-80k if diesel and anything lower if petrol.

I'd imagind ~15k km per year would be normal, so maybe around 50k km would be expected. Sounds like it was used for business.

You need to ask some questions of the seller.

I wouldn't necessarily be put off by high mileage, but it will effect the resale value a lot in the future, so I would aggressively factor this into the price negotiations - if you get that far.

Don't have a huge amount of data to hand but anywhere between 40k and 65k (Kilometres) is the average for the C4 Grand Picasso. The average for all 2011 cars (Petrol and Diesel) in my data set is 47,108 miles (75,813km) and thats based on 5911 cars.
