I have long thick hair which has no shape anymore. I usually go to peter mark in dublin city but would love to go to someone with a bit of vision and put some style back in my hair. Any recommendations for a stylist? Thanks

Sabrina in Style Club North Earl Street. I have long thick hair also and she gave me an amazing cut about three weeks ago, will defo trek over to her next time my hair needs doing. Couldn't recommend highly enough!

I have very thick and coarse hair. And the only hair salon I was satisfied with was Queen.

I've been to the Style Club in South William St, House of Colour in Wellington Quay and another one around the Wicklow St area that I don't even remember the name of. They are OK for a trim and relatively less pricey. But I was not happy with the cuts I've received there. You know how hard it is to get a good shape with thick hair and how easy it is to mess it up. So, I wouldn't risk those.

I have thick hair and find Elaine in Aviary Lane great. I think a standalone salon is a better bet than the chains to be honest. Less generic hair cutting going on!

I used to go to Natural Cut. Found it all a bit boring after a while so decided to try somewhere different.

I loved my friend's hair, it was similar to mine, asked her where she got it done and turns out it's Dylan Bradshaw.

I went there last week. Amazing. Would highly recommend. They make you feel like you're their one & only customer and I didn't come out looking like a poodle. Very caring and understanding staff.

You get a choice of tea, coffee (yes, proper coffee) or prosecco which all goes to enhance the experience. Highly recommend.

I'd highly recommend Foundation on St. Stephens Street.
They are no pricier than the chains on Grafton Street, but the quality of service is far superior.
    I'd recommend Sean or Sinead.

Did you use anyone in particular I Dylan Bradshaw (was it a senior stylist)? Thanks

Sinead in the Hair Mob is great, comes to your home, reasonably priced and excellent hair dresser.

I went to Lauren. She's good with curly / wavy / thick hair, as she has that type herself.

Not sure who'd be good for long, thick hair though.
