    Hey guys,

I finally signed up to the psn us, just wondering what stuff is worth buying there. Either stuff that works out a lot cheaper or things that we don't get here.

    Thanks

You can get South Park, the uncensored version for €43, same for Infamous Second Son and MGSV GZ. All for cheaper than here.

The games in general are a lot cheaper ($60 vs €69.99 in some cases) and when they've a sale on it's generally way better than any EU sale.

I've PS+ for both my US and EU account too, which is overkill a bit. But I got Dragon's Crown for €17, Tales of Xillia for $10, Killzone Mercenary for $8 and some other great deals so it is worth it.

I've the same a touch of overkill but over the last year I've probably saved more than enough as a result of PS+ on both to pay for both of the PS subs

I was thinking of doing this myself. However, what would happen if I got - let's say - Battlefield 4 from the US store. Would I have to get the map packs off the US store as well? How would that work?

P.S Also, I have to ask, do I have to use my American account to play any US games I buy?

No, but some content is account based such as MMO subscriptions, F2P micro transactions items, or season pack/premium perk stuff.

That makes sense, I guess. I just made a US account there. I could've gotten Metal Gear Solid V: GZ for just shy of €20 if I got the US version.. :o Paid €30 for it (PS4)

Another good thing about a US PSN account is that all the PS1 games will run full screen and full speed. European games were slowed down and had their aspect ratio squashed with black borders. There's a few games like the resident evils on the EU store and a few imports that are the US versions and run properly but most are the terrible European versions. It's makes a huge difference to most games and especially RPGs since they play faster and smoother.

tl;dr You should be buying all your PS1 games from the US store.
