Canada expo Dublin 2014

    Is there any point going to this canada working expo up in Dublin if you have no degree or trade?

    Not really no. Haven't heard good reports about it anyway. Only 2 Engineering companies there apparently. If you have no trade all you can do is go to Canada and get some labouring work. The lease-hand work with the Oil and Gas Companies doesn't really pick up until around September time!

    engineering companys that where looking for mechanics rather then mechanical engineers . it was all just a money making racket really . waste of time unles your in the trades and or cant use the internet because you get better info on it .

    does anyone know if there were any jobs on offer for bricklayers at the expo thinking of heading up tomorrow but am not sure if its worth it.

    was there today..wasnt expecting much...most stands looking for diesel mechanics with 10 years experience...if you have strong experience in a trade go...I am a graduate in Business and yet I managed to get offered a labouring job, Ideally i wanted to do anything in Energy so happy out...other than that unless your passing by the door dont bother going.
